Arsine Removal

Arsine Removal Adsorbent by B.F.S

High-Efficiency Adsorbent for Trace Arsine Elimination in Gas and Liquid Streams

B.F.S is proud to offer its cutting-edge Arsine (AsH₃) Removal Adsorbent, specially engineered for the ultra-selective removal of arsenic-containing impurities from hydrocarbon gases, hydrogen, and process liquids. Even trace amounts of arsine can be catalyst poisons or toxic contaminants in industrial and electronic-grade applications. Our solution delivers exceptional capacity, rapid adsorption kinetics, and high safety standards.

Product Description

The B.F.S Arsine Removal Adsorbent is based on a high-surface-area support (typically alumina or silica) impregnated with proprietary metal oxide formulations (such as silver, copper, zinc, or molybdenum compounds) that chemically react with arsine, converting it into stable, non-volatile solid arsenic species trapped in the adsorbent matrix.

Key Features

  • Ultra-Low Detection Limits Reduces arsine to <10 ppb or lower in treated streams.
  • Fast and Irreversible Reaction Immediate chemisorption ensures no arsine slip even under variable flow rates.
  • Wide Operating Temperature Range Works effectively between ambient to 200°C depending on system requirements.
  • Compatible with Moisture & Other Contaminants Can operate in the presence of water vapor and light sulfur compounds (with proper grade).
  • High Mechanical Strength Resists attrition and pressure drop in fixed-bed or cartridge systems.

Applications

Our Arsine Removal Adsorbent is trusted across industries where even trace levels of arsine must be eliminated:
  • Hydrogen Purification Protects platinum or palladium catalysts in hydrogenation and fuel cell processes.
  • Semiconductor & Electronics Gas Purification Ensures ultra-pure gases for wafer processing and specialty gas blending.
  • Polymer and Olefin Production Removes arsine from ethylene and propylene feedstocks in polymer-grade systems.
  • Syngas and Ammonia Plants Eliminates arsenic compounds before reforming or synthesis stages.
  • Pharmaceutical & Specialty Chemicals Ensures clean gas and liquid streams free from toxic heavy metals.
